Librarians Without Borders (LWB)

Librarians Without Borders (LWB) is an action-oriented, non-profit interested in global literacy, and powered by student committees at Canadian universities like Dalhousie. The society aims to promote literacy in under-served or under-developed communities both locally and globally. They accomplish this goal through yearly fundraising events such as book sales and bake sales, in addition to community outreach. Our current local project is developing a functional community library at Demetreous Lane, in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. There are no fees to join and new members are always welcome.
